The Mansion on Turtle Creek will usher in the fall with a new harvest in its regular culinary series. One of the finest vineyards in California, Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery, will be celebrated with a special wine dinner on Tuesday, October 20 at 7:00pm. Recognized as one of the finest vineyard collections in California, Ferrari-Carano has 17 vineyard sites spread over 800 acres from northern Sonoma County to the Napa/Carneroes region in the south.
Chef Dean Fearing will complement the wines with an inventive five-course menu. A favorite on The Mansion on Turtle Creek wine list and that of many of America's finest restaurants, Ferrari-Carano is renowned for its highly stylized wines. Don Carano will be The Mansion's special guest for the evening, providing insight on each wine served, as well as anecdotes from his experiences owning vineyards and producing some of the finest wines.
The cost is $225.00 per person (includes all gratuities and taxes). Reservations are limited, and may be made by calling Candy Turner at (214) 559-2100, Ext 202. The Mansion will close its 1998 culinary calendar of events on November 2 with "The Joy of Cooking" class, featuring Chefs Jim Dodge and John Ash.
